Goats

We started our mini heard of Mini Nubians in 2011 with a small, established heard of semi wild, but well cared for goats.  It was a challenge, but we got to know lots about the breed and how to care for them.  That first group of 7 is now gone from our small farm, and we now are working on developing a small herd of quality goats, handled from a young age to be very friendly, and carefully selected for Nubian character and excellent Milk production.

Our Livestock guard dogs Ethel and Lucy keep them safe and help to raise the kids, they are wonderful animals with an unbelievable sense of what is safe and what is not for their charges.  Take a look at our blog for stories about all of our animals as well as stories about our soap making adventures.
